About Sport Psychology Support with Laura
Based in Battle (near the East Sussex and Kent border), I work with individual athletes, coaches, and teams online UK wide. As a sport psychologist, my aim is to make the 'mental side' of sports performance accessible and understandable, providing my clients with practical and achievable approaches to their performance challenges. Having completed a Masters Degree in Sport Psychology and the British Psychological Society’s QSEP programme, I am both a Chartered Psychologist (with the BPS) and registered Sport and Exercise Psychologist with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). These accreditations mean you can be assured of my depth of knowledge, adherence to professional codes of conduct and commitment to continued professional development.
What Athlete Level and Sports does Laura work with?
I provide support to athletes of all levels, from elite through to recreational, working alongside my clients to overcome their mindset challenges and achieve their performance goals. Online sport psychology sessions enable me to work with you wherever you are based. My experience spans a wide range of sports including (but not limited to); golf, snooker, darts, running, swimming, football, cricket and karting. Playing football myself (both in my youth and now as a ‘walking footballer’) I have first-hand understanding of the challenges that team sports can bring. Many of my clients have never worked with a sport psychologist before, and I understand that it can feel a little daunting. This is one reason why I offer all potential new clients the opportunity to meet with me for a free of charge and no obligation introductory Zoom meeting.
